Ok all here we go, this is my story....... My name is Boo Boo Kitty. I am a 2 1/2 year old un-alterd male. I was brought into the shelter February 2004. My owners no longer had time for me. I was so scared and didn't know what to do. As I sat there I got sick, I spent alot of time in the sick room and finally I got better. Yet no one gave me a chance to get to know them. Everyone at the shelter tried to help me come out of my shell. I knew my time was limited yet there was always a glimmer of hope in my eyes. In May of 2004 there all of a sudden was a new worker and she seemed to like me. Yet I didn't know what to make of it. I sat in this cold cage in the corner just waiting for my time to come. Weather it be in heaven or in a warm loving home. She spent some time with me just 3 days after she started. And guess what I did??? Yes, it is true, I bit her right in the hand! Scared and not realizing what I did I curled up in a ball. Yet she still took me home to foster with the hopes of helping me. When I got there I was afraid. I hid all day long and only came out at night. Or when I saw the kids. I like kids, they make me feel safe. My foster parents were getting the gist of me now. Yes I was abused and didn't trust adults. As much as I wanted to it was gonna take time. They bought me toys and good food. I didn't know what toys were but they seemed kinda cool. After being there a week and still a little skittish, she brought me back. Come to find out it was only to have my hoo hoo's taken away. Not very nice but I guess it was necessary. When I woke up there she was, talking to me and telling me it was gonna be ok. Then I went back to her house. Everyone was happy to see me. It took me a few more days but you know what? I seem to have gotten the feeling that they were good people. So I started to hang out around them a little more each day. I loved the attention and all the love. Two months later that wonderful woman, her husband (my best friend) and their kids adopted me! I am now known as King Boo Boo. I'm spoiled rotten and I love it! I sleep in bed with mom and dad, even under the covers. Ya Hoo............... I know she's a foster failure but you know what that don't bother me at all. She's my foster failure.

Love you Mom & Dad
