We lost our dog of 15 years, whom I adopted from the shelter when he was 3 months old. It seemed strange having only one dog so...the search began. I looked at the website and went down to see what kind of dogs were there, but I didn't feel a connection with any of them until I saw "Schnitzel" (who was named Jolson at the shelter). We went for a walk and it was love at first sight. I've had him almost two months now and he's settled in immediately with my other animals. He's really the best dog. Every day I see a little more of his personality coming through. Thank you to everyone at the shelter -- to the caretakers, walkers, website designers. You can tell everyone there really wants to help these dogs find a permanent home. Keep up the good work.
