A few years ago I came to foster a special needs dog who was rescued from an unhappy situation. But after just a week or so, I knew Charlene was staying with me. She was not the most beautiful or best behaved due to her prior circumstances, but she quickly adapted and could not do enough to make me happy. And I loved to spoil her! Recently, I lost Charlene from cancer, but I was privileged to have her in my home and glad that I could make her happy for four years and make her feel like a queen for her last few months!
