We adopted Nala from the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society in September 2004. My husband is a "cat person" but this was my first experience with a cat and I was a bit anxious about it. Would she make a good pet? Would she scratch everything in sight? All of my fears subsided after Nala's first night in our home. She is very feisty, sweet and vocal. A year and a half later I cannot remember our lives without her. She has brought so much joy to our home and wonderful companionship to us both. We look forward to having her with us for many years to come. Thank you to everyone at the Humane Society who took such good care of her before we adopted her. She truly is part of the family and has added a lot of love to our home.
