Join Us for Feline Fest 2009!
The Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society is proud to announce its third annual Feline Festival on July 23rd through 26th. The festival is a four-day celebration of America's most popular pet. The Society is filled with cats and kittens in urgent need of new homes!
For those four days, adoption fees for cats will be 50% off the normal fee. Hours are extended to 8pm on Thursday, July 23rd. In addition, on Saturday, July 25th from 10am to 5pm, the Society will offer:
New kittens have been born throughout the spring and summer months because too few people have their pets spayed or neutered. Sometimes we get 20 or 30 cats a day for several days in a row! Those kinds of numbers put a huge strain on the Humane Society's ability to care for animals and find them homes. The Society is currently caring for over 250 cats, about half of which are in foster homes.

- Bake sale
- Raffles (50/50 and prize drawing)

The Humane Society has had hundreds of kittens in foster care that are now getting old and strong enough to be adopted into loving homes. Now is the time to go to the Humane Society, or one of its PetSmart adoption centers in Glenmont or Latham, and add a cat or kitten to your family!
